SPRING/SUMMER 2011
EMANUEL UNGARO

after various misshaps, it appears that the legendary fashion house of Ungaro, famous for being the label of choice for the "It-Girls" of the Eighties, has finally found in designer Giles Deacon, a vision that can bring the label back to its glory days. The brand's signature elements make a reappearance, like couture draping that defines a sinuous silhouette, lively embellishments, feathers and lace that add a coquettish touch, and flirty, French colours like blush and fuchsia pink. Giles Deacon has put down the foundation for an aesthetic in line with the label's stylistic origins, but interprets in a new, modern way
