After many weeks of speculation Nick Cannon has confirmed that he and wife Mariah Carey are in fact expecting twins!




Cannon confirmed the news on radio station 92.3 Now, revealing that they first shared the news with the President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama after a chance encounter.



“We are having twins,” Cannon said. “I think just the excitement, just being overwhelmed in that moment and being able to tell somebody about that in that special time and being that we will even be able to share that story with our children that the first people or person that your mother told that you guys would be on this earth together was the President of the United States and his wife. So that’s an awesome story to be able to tell.”



He went on to reveal that hadn’t even told his wife that he was making the announcement but confirmed that doctors were happy with how things are progressing.



“I’m probably going to get in trouble for telling you this right now,” he added. “She got to share it with the President, now I get to share it with you.”
