From January 26th-28th, fashion brands from around the world and all over Japan came together at Tokyo Big Sight to show their collections at the JFW International Fashion Fair (IFF).

JFW International Fashion Fair Tokyo

According to the official website, the International Fashion Fair was launched in 2000 “a place for fashion and business to come together.” Japan Fashion Week became involved, and the name changed to JFW International Fashion Fair. Fashion labels use the event to share their collections, to network with international brands, and to gain inspiration.

The fair was divided into sections: Ladies’ Wear (excluding young casual), Men’s Wear, Casual Wear, Babies’ and Children’s, Bags, Shoes, Accessories, Imported Items and the Creators’ Village (CV) Designers.

As JFW International Fashion Fair is a large event, we couldn’t take photos of everything that was going on, but we brought back a sample of the brands and designers on hand. Some of the fashion brands we saw on the floor included Tarina Tarantino, Boo Foo Woo, Listen Flavor, Cuddle Close Together, Bundeswear, Lemuria, Phaedra, Junk Star, Kazu Minakata, Spin Design, Obelisk, Heavy Eco and Wunder Schatze.
