The Belgian duo met in 1987 at the Royal Academy in Antwerp. An Vandevorst working as an assistant to Dries Van Noten, while Filip Arickx worked for Dirk Bikkembergs for 3 years as well as serving in the military soon after became a freelance designer and stylist. Together they established their own label in 1997. Nerve wrecked for presenting their first collection in Paris for the Autum/Winter 98, AF Vandevorst thereafter won Paris Fashion Weeks Venus de la Mode "Le Futur Grand Createur". Along with being presented by Anna Wintour as THE next Designers to look after in the new millienium.

Theyre signature designs include, studding, classics with modern twists, contrast and leather applications. AF Vandevorst have also expanded their creativity to footwear, lingerie and accessories. With a Label oozing of sex appeal, intellect and femininity, we will always be at the highest of highs.
