Hakaan SS 2011 Review

Posted by ElenaPearl
SPRING/SUMMER 2011

HAKAAN

                                                                                            Mood/style:
the collection of Hakaan Yildirim is minimalist only in appearance. The linearity of the silhouette and the purity of basic solid colours can, in fact, throw you off. But upon very careful examination, you discover masterful cuts and innovative stylistic solutions. Very low necklines, tailored pantsuits, tops that leave the belly bare, dresses with unexpected volumes, 3D tone-on-tone embroidery follow each other down the catwalk, communicating a sexy allure, haughty and contemporary. The body’s shapes are brought out and the focus is, above all, on the waistline
