Posted by ElenaPearl

Anne Hathaway, Ed Zwick, Jake GyllenhaalLove & Other Drugs focuses more on “Viagra” than fashion, but when Valentinohosts a party, well, you know what to expect. The likes of Alexa Chung, Zac Posen, Molly Sims, Christian Siriano, Jamie-Lynn Sigler andLauren Remington Platt hit the red carpet Tuesday night to catch a screening of the emotional romantic comedy.
The house dressed number of guests, including the film’s co-star Anne Hathaway, who wore a jaw-dropping cream cocktail dress. The two originally met on the set of The Devil Wears Prada, and he’s been a fan ever since. “I love her because I think she is a new, young star. She sings beautifully, she dances beautifully. Remember 2 years ago when she danced with Hugh Jackman on the stage of the Academy Awards?” recalled Valentino Garavani. “She has lots of talent."
In the film, Hathaway plays Maggie Murdock, a free-spirited artist who won’t let anything tie her down, including a chronic illness. Then she falls for Jamie, Jake Gyllenhaal's charming pharmaceutical sales rep. “They worked together before—we all know that fromBrokeback Mountain,” laughe producer Charles Randolph. “The charm between them is apparent to anyone who sees the film. And they trust each other. That’s huge—especially in a film like this when you’re doing a lot of sex.”
The steamy  scenes didn’t seem to faze Gyllenhaal, who walked the carpet with his proud parents. “There are a lot of things that are hard in life," he said. "But I don’t think having sex with Anne Hathaway on screen is one of them."
The duo’s on-screen chemistry was a main topic of conversation afterwards at Rouge Tomate, where Graydon Carter, Molly Sims, and Zani Guggelmann joined the costars and director Ed Zwick post screening. Guests were treated to champagne, Red Bull, and a buffet full of the restaurant’s healthy fare. “Great chemistry,” declared Sims, clad in a Bird by Juicy Couture dress and Valentino clutch. “They brought out the best in each other. You felt like they were a real couple!" said Guggelmannwho wore Valentino. With all this talk about sex and drugs, The Daily wondered...What’s Hathaway’s biggest vice? "Hm," she pondered. "Toddlers and tiaras."
