The hip-hop mogul, married to singing superstar Beyoncé, recently unveiled Lifeandtimes.com, and one of the first people to sit down with him for an exclusive interview about it was none other than Gwyneth Paltrow. The Oscar-winning actress chatted with Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, about his project for her newsletter Goop. Of his decision to start a lifestyle website, Jay-Z explains, “I started working on it in its various incarnations over a year ago. I've thought about it forever. You know how it works, seeing other sites and being either inspired or saying, 'That's s**t. I would do it like…”On Monday, Gwyneth and Jay-Z were hanging out once again, but this time at an A-list dinner party the actress hosted in New York City – and it’s said that she did all of the cooking. Martha Stewart, Michael Stipe, Mario Batali, Jerry Seinfeld, her mother Blythe Danner and her husband Chris Martin were among those in attendance at the West Village get together. Paltrow’s culinary skills should come as no surprise to those who follow her newsletter Goop, which includes a regular dose of recipes. She has also written a cookbook called My Father's Daughter: Delicious, Easy Recipes Celebrating Family & Togetherness.
