What: Mario Testino and Anna Wintour hosted a dinner Sunday evening in honor of this year’s CFDA honorees, Christopher Bailey, Michael Kors,and Tonne Goodman, who will be receiving the International Award, the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award, and the Eleanor Lambert Award respectively.
Where: Raúl Àvila converted the dining room and garden of Wintour’s home into a veritable Provençal bistro.
Who: The honorees’ families, loyal supporters, and friends, including Grace Coddington, Orlando Pita, Gwyneth Paltrow, Claire Danes, Hugh Dancy, Carmen Kass, Alexa Chung, Lily Donaldson, Keifer Sutherland, Marjorie Gubelman, and Blaine Trump, sat at intimate tables of four to six people and were treated to cocktails and light, summer fare. The evening was a lovely prelude to tonight’s awards ceremony, and as Michael Kors put it, it was “the perfect, casual Sunday night dinner with friends.”
