Lady Gaga wears many hats (yes, even one made ofraw meat), and now she's adding the title of restaurateur to her already impressive resume. The pop sensation has invested in the Italian-American eatery Vince & Eddie's, located on Manhattan's Upper West Side in her native New York City. The restaurant did a promotion with Gaga when her Monster Ball Tour stopped at the city's Madison Square Garden in July. "We're close friends with the family," says Peter Dee, whose family owns the 21-year-old establishment.
Speaking of keeping it in the family, Gaga - real name Stefani Germanotta - is investing in the business with her parents, who are said to be longtime regulars there. However, while Gaga is thrilled to flex her celebrity muscles in a variety of other arenas, she reportedly desires a more low-key role in the restaurant's running, opting to become a silent investor.
"When she's in town she likes to come here with her friends because it's very homey and private," says Gaga's mother Cynthia Germanotta. "She'll come here on her time off."
